We are very excited to share with you what a huge success the last Yoga for Kids Teacher Training was! We once more held it at the world renowned Green School in Bali and had an absolutely incredible group of students who got to learn about the many fun techniques of teaching children and teenagers.
One of the students wrote a detailed article about the entire 12-day training, have a read here.
Or take a look at the video testimonials below!
Here is a little bit about the training:
There were daily yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Yang and Restorative yoga and all took place at our gorgeous yoga studio at the Green Camp, have a look at the photos below!
There were also daily lectures and sharing circles where people could share their feelings and experiences.
The best bit – the students learned how to let out their inner child and literally become children during our lessons. By being children, it helps students to learn the techniques from “the other side” and understand the children more.
This is 4 of the students spelling out the word YOGA – can you see it? :)
We also had some fun partner yoga lessons!
And an incredible day playing and doing yoga in the mud and swimming in the river! Everyone embraced their silly-side :)
When the day finally came to getting the students to teach actual children, everyone was prepared and had many useful skills and techniques up their sleeves to make the lessons enjoyable for the kids and teachers alike.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the training!
If you are interested in further Yoga for Kids Teacher Trainings, we are holding a Foundation Level TT in October, which will give you 30 hours out of the 95 hours. Perfect for those of you who are working and aren’t able to make the full 2 weeks in one go. Please check the poster below for more information.
As a final note, in 2014 we are planning a 200 hour Yoga for Kids Teacher Training, which you are welcome to take for 95 hours (either at Foundation level or Advanced) or go for the full 200 hours in one go!
Much love to all!
